Paul was elected to the Burlington Area Bowling Association in 1965 and served 23 years as Secretary/Treasurer of that group. He was inducted into the Burlington Area Bowling Hall of Fame in 1985. Paul was an organizer and hard worker for the sport of bowling. He was instrumental in securing several State Tournaments in Burlington. He also organized many Senior Tournaments for the local senior bowlers and supplied prizes and gifts for all participants.

In 1980, Paul was elected to the Iowa State Men's Bowling Association and served as President of that group in 1988-89. He was inducted into the State Bowling Hall of Fame in 1998.

Beginning in 1994 he served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Iowa State Seniors Bowling Association. This job included the State Seniors Tournament, held all over the state. That was three weekends every year that Paul had to travel and conduct this very popular tournament.

Burlington Area and the State of Iowa bowling will miss Paul and all that he did for so many years.

   KING of the HILL TOURNAMENT

    The King of the Hill Tournament was held November 15-16, 2008 at King Pins and Charlie's Country Fun, respectively. Twenty bowlers participated in the two day tournament. For complete results go to King of the Hill
