The Iowa State USBC is an organization consisting of men, women and youth bowling within the jurisdiction of the state of Iowa and under the umbrella of the United States Bowling Congress.

COVID-19 has changed our world and continues to impact all aspects of our daily lives.

The Iowa State USBC, first and foremost, promotes the safety of all bowlers participating in our sponsored events, including tournaments and meetings.

We encourage everyone to follow the guidelines of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Iowa Department of Public Health regarding COVID-19 and the precautions in place to assure the health of our member bowlers and all persons they interact with during a bowling event.

At this time, the Iowa State USBC is scheduling tournaments and planning for the annual meeting. Scheduling and planning are being preformed in the former “normal” manner with the understanding that changes may be necessary in order for tournaments and meetings to be held.

Any tournament scheduling changes or changes to the format or timing of the annual meeting will be addressed at a time prior to these events.

Communication is vital during this stressful time. If you have questions or concerns regarding any Iowa State USBC event, please contact the state bowling office. The most current standard of operation will be available as allowed by law or mandate with any needed adjustments made when applicable. Communication to the local bowling associations, tournament entrants and meeting delegates will be forthcoming and delivered in as timely of manner as possible.
