Pepsi Tournament
The Pepsi Tournament is handicap and split into divisions according to age. It begins with qualifying using league scores at Iris Bowling Center. Those advancing locally then can go on to Sectionals, perhaps then on to State. In 2009, there will no longer be a national tournament, now with all of the scholarship money being awarded at the state level. The top two bowlers in the scratch division at the state level will advance to the USBC Junior Gold Championships.
USBC National Scholarships
There are many USBC National Scholarships available. Each scholarship bases its award on different attributes, such as academics, ability, contribution, volunteering, etc. To see a listing of USBC National Scholarships please CLICK HERE.
Grand Prix Scholarships
You can try to help make Iris Bowling Center a participating member of the Grand Prix Scholarship Program. Over 30 bowling centers in Iowa that are members of the Iowa BPA participate in this scholarship program. To see more on this please CLICK HERE.
If you know of any other scholarship opportunities for youth bowlers, please contact the WEBMASTER and inform us so we may post those on the website.
